Coconut View Resort provides an exciting Mozambique Resort holiday experience suitable for families, friends and couples. Coconut View Resort is situated in the beautiful, tranquil village of Ponta do Ouro, Mozambique, with a lovely sea view, and is about a 5 minute drive to the beach.
Experience our paradise with luscious green grass terraces, surrounded by stunning coconut palm trees and beautiful trees overhanging the walk ways.
Guests have access to an entertainment deck with bar facilities and patio dining tables. There is also a Pool and communal barbecue/boma facilities. I

* Only the Family Bungalow (6 sleeper) has breakfast included. Breakfast is optional at an additional fee for the other units.

Ponta do Ouro is located in the Maputo region of southern Mozambique only 15 kms from the South African border. This quaint little town is a tourist hub throughout the year as South Africans and tourists from afar flock here for the fantastic white sandy beach, spunky dolphins, vibrant corals and generally the great holiday vibe. Rated as one of the top ten attractions in Africa and fondly known as Ponta, the town is a must-see when visiting Mozambique.

When they say strangers become family - they don't lie when it comes to Athuranne & Clive. Instant connections were made from the moment we stopped at MoZbevok! The backpackers were exactly that - bunk beds with a communal kitchen area and it was PERFECT for our family group. Some upgrades are being made so watch this space :-)

We had an awesome vacation at Coconut View Resort. Wonderful place and people. Will recommend to everyone.
Coconut View Resort was amazing.
Thank you to Hennie and Ellen and their family and friends for including Gary and myself in their braai's in the evening. We had so many good laughs. It was great to use the communal braai area. Made new friends and great memories.
Our tent was set up for us by the staff on a wonderful wooden deck with a beautiful sea view. There is a power point on the deck which was a great help. Beneath the deck was a small kitchenette with a sink and another power point. The ablution facilities were very close to our deck.
The jacuzzi was great for when we got back from the beach - the water was always clean and warm.
Cocunut View is away from the hustle and bustle of town but close enough to drive down to the beach and restaurants.
Overall we had a very enjoyable 5 days camping...even when it rained it was great to be on the deck.
We can definitely recommend Coconut View Resort. We will go back again. Once again thank you Hennie and Ellen.

Thank You for your last minute arrangements to accommodate us at your Resort. It was a friendly welcome by the owners themselves - and great hospitality every day. The Chalets were perfect and all the campers mingled friendly around the fire in the evenings. Even my 2 kids had an awesome experience. WE WILL BE BACK SOMETIME THIS YEAR.

Firstly I would like to express my gratitude to both Rian and Letitia for being such excellent hosts. Secondly I would like to compliment the site for being so neat and well arranged. I have been camping quite some time, including places like Ponta Malangane, but will definitely return to Coconut View. If you are looking for a camping experience with a difference, Coconut View is definitely the place for you!!!!
Coconutview is such a lovely quaint little resort. I loved every second spent their aand the people are just wonderful. It is safe and relaxing and most entertaining.It is clean and the abulution facilitiesare cleaned regulary.The kir\tchen is fully equiped and extremely convenient.IF YOU WANT A GOOD HOLIDAY PLEASE VISIT THIS EXCCELENT RESORT.

Nice food and vibe
Very run down, hard to find decent food.
But the beaches are amazing, most resorts have taken a toll, but the vibe makes up for it 100 times over..

Worst experience of my life. We were told that our Vw tiguan Rline with 20 inch rims wouldnt have a problem getting to her place. There were 2 ways to get there. We got stuck in the sand on the 1st attempt, thank God for the helpful locals. Erna Smith didnt even answer her phone when we told we were stuck. We pleaded with her to atleast refund us 50% of the the total amount she requested upfront and paid in full 3 weeks earlier as she insisted. But she eventually rocked up at Melting pot restaurant where we told we were waiting. We eventually got a hold of her and said she will meet us melting pot. She arrived fuming and asked her to follow to another way in. We again got stuck and she even tried driving my vehicle out but failed. Again the locals came to the rescue. We pleaded with her to refund us atleast 50% so we could book a place that we could atleast drive to. But she said she is broke and will give us the 50% in 2 months time, which we knew was a lie. We asked her to follow us to the police station to get this sorted out. She said she had friends in the police station and she didnt care and we must follow her to the police. But she chickened out and left us to go find another place. We were left stranded with 3 kids in a car for hours at each point. She was rude and really inhumane. Thankful for Tri M wild waves who watched everything and made us and kids very comfortable. Won't want to visit again due to this ill treatment .
The beach is awesome. The people are so friendly.
