Reviews
Fantastic overnight stop, comfy beds, lovely hot showers, hospitable welcome.
The Herb Garden Guesthouse is very conveniently situated. The accommodation is very comfortable and the host is very friendly. The rates are very reasonable.
Our stay-over was a pleasant experience and will use this guest house again in the future.
Arrived late at night and they had a person waiting for us to show us to our room.. Really appreciated that from them. Would definitely recommend.
We stayed over in Colesberg on our way home and we were warmly welcomed by the host’s friendliness and hospitality. Thank you we enjoyed our stay, rooms are lovely and clean. We will definitely recommend this little gem.
Our room at the Herb Garden was comfortable on 2 August, and the breakfast was good!
Marianna & Marius (and dog Cinnamon) made us welcome.
My wife & I will be happy to stay there again, should we be going that way in the future.
A comfortable overnight stay.
Frindly host and secure parking.
Plumbing failed during the night (shower would not work) host was puzzled.
Subsequent inquiry with an expert suggests probably due to normal municipal water pressure drop at night
The overnight session was peaceful, the room was tidy
and the linen clean. The reception was also warm.
Relaxed, secure and comfortable. Enjoyed our stay.
The only negative was the smell of cat pee in the one room. The host was accommodating and pleasant. Very inexpensive.

Colesberg Reviews
We stayed at Colesberg for the night, while travelling from Johannesburg to Cape Town. Staying at Little Farm, we enjoyed a light dinner and the most delicious slap chips, while enjoying the pet-friendly and child friend outdoor area.
Easy access from the highway
Beautiful surroundings
Well positioned between Gauteng and the Cape Coast
The beautiful accommodation and their cleanliness.
Colesberg the town has really gone down, rubbish everywhere, dirty and dusty. However as we stayed in the wonderful lodge outside of the town, we will overnight again in the area, as it is in the middle of Johannesburg and Cape Town.
Friendly people and just the right distance from Gauteng to take a break.
Spectacular view of animals and the mountains.
The roads are in great condition, we did not go into the town.
Just travelling through ....
