Located in the eastern Karoo near Middelburg, Erin Farmhouse and Cottages offer guests individual farm-style cottage accommodation in a beautiful and tranquil farm setting.
The tranquillity, fresh air, and sweeping views across the open Karoo farmland to the nearby Renosterberg mountain make this peaceful homestead the perfect place to relax and unwind.
The accommodation is pet-friendly and all units have a 1.2 metre-high fences to keep your animals safe and contained. The units are well-equipped for self-catering, including braai facilities and a pack of free firewood for you every night. There is a limited menu available – please order in advance.
At Erin, we respect your right to quiet, undisturbed solitude, and there are no televisions or radios in the rooms, and no music or other disturbances are allowed.

Erin is only a few minutes drives from Middelburg town, approximately halfway between Johannesburg and the Garden Route/ Cape Town.
Located just off the N9 between Middelburg and Graaff-Reinet, the farm provides an excellent stopover point.

Beautifully quiet country getaway. All amenities for self-catering are there. 2 plate Stove with oven, microwave, gas stove, fridge, electric blanket. double bed with good warm linen, lights built in for loadshedding. I lacked for nothing. I enjoyed that ectra touch of fresh milk in the fridge
Lovely setting in an old farmhouse. rather rustic but clean and pleasant. Fryni and Justin were very helpful and accommodating.
My husband and I, as well as our doggies really enjoyed the stay. It's really safe for your dogs and beautiful walks on the farm is available as well.
We will definitely visit Erin's Farmhouse & Cottages in the future :).
Freyni is accommodating, she met us with a smile as we arrived after a long drive and everything was perfect. We opted for their home-cooked meal of chicken thighs and it was delicious soul food. The breakfast basket was also enjoyed and perfect for the next leg of our journey. I would definitely recommend Erin's farm it's a perfect stop over point.

Attractive ambience.
We arrived a bit later than planned and Trevor was very accommodating and friendly. Nice and clean unit, comfortable bed for a great night's rest and a stunning bathroom with a nice big bath tub for a well deserved relaxing soak after a long day of traveling, will definitely recommend that anyone traveling through Middelburg and wanting to spend the night go and check them out

Erin Farmhouse is a wonderful stop - accommodation is well appointed and you feel welcome and at home - our dogs also loved exploring the enclosed garden. A beautiful Karoo experience.
I overnighted at Erin Farmhouse and Cottages on my way from Johannesburg to Plettenberg Bay with two of my daughters. We found the hosts friendly and accommodating; and found the cottage to be clean, comfortable and kitted out with everything needed for self catering purposes. I am happy to recommend this guesthouse to anyone and I will definitely stay there again.
