This traditional sugar farm homestead is set in a beautiful garden bordering Eshowe, offering country hospitality and personal service. Relax in two spacious double garden cottages or a three-bedroomed farm cottage for 5 people, ideal for families. Self-catering or bed-and-breakfast is available. Business Breakfast for R120 and a Full English Breakfast for R190. A two-course dinner is R200 per person. Enjoy DSTV and free WiFi throughout.

Each spacious garden cottage is fully equipped with a microwave,bar fridge and double electric hot plate There is an option of king-/queen-size or twin beds. Each private patio has braai facilities.

The larger farm cottage, next to the garden cottages, has three bedrooms and sleeps five people. There is a sitting/ dining room, second sitting room, two bathrooms (none en-suite), fully equipped kitchen and large veranda. It is ideal for families who want to really relax.

The beautiful garden is a birder`s paradise (82 species) with a tennis court, swimming pool and trampoline for the more energetic. Walkers will enjoy the indigenous forests on the farm. Cycling and fishing on the farm are also permitted.

There are numerous farm animals, and children are most welcome. Tours of the sugar farm, proteas and banana pack-house can be arranged, time permitting.

Game reserves are an easy 90 minutes' drive away, whilst good swimming beaches are only 40 minutes away.

Eshowe itself has many attractions. The Dlinza Forest Aerial Boardwalk is nearby. Fort Nongqayi Museum Village ,comprising Zululand Historical and Missionary Museums, Vukani Zulu Cultural Museum, Eshowe Butterfly Dome and KZN Paper-Makers, is a few minutes away. Sporting facilities include Eshowe Hills 18 hole golf course, squash and tennis.

The Chase is a Birder Friendly Establishment and a member of the Zululand Birding Route, Birdlife South Africa, KWABABA, uMlalazi Tourism Association , NAASA, and has 4 star grading with TGCSA and is AA Superior graded.
