The five cottages at Heuglins are privately situated in shaded garden settings, with views across the valley to the White River Golf Course and beyond.
In Room Facilities:We offer self-catering cottages with each cottage being provided with a microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge, induction cooking plate and a small Weber braai. The cottages are also equipped with pots, frying pan, cutler crockery and kitchen utensils.
Area Information:The garden is well wooded and rich in diversity. The bird life is exceptional. Over 120 species have been recorded on Heuglins or the surrounding estate, some of which are rare and not often seen
Property Facilities:A breakfast pack can be arranged. We have five well-appointed and private cottages. There is under floor heating, a large shower and a bath and DStv. Each cottage has a private outside area.
Attractions:The gardens of Winmarleigh Farm are a peaceful retreat for the weary traveller. Lush tropical wilderness intermingles with English roses and spring-blooming azaleas. Guests are welcome to explore – walking, bird watching, fishing on the dams or just relaxing in the serene environment White River has a temperate climate, and does not fall within the Malaria belt. Malaria prophylactics should not be a concern unless you plan to visit the Kruger National Park or areas further afield.
Heuglins on Winmarleigh Farm is only 5 minutes from the town of White River and Nelspruit, Mpumalanga's capital, is about 20 minutes away.

I loved the ambiance and atmosphere - quiet and part of nature. Security and privacy were 100%. The accommodation is neat, spacious and clean. The hosts, Brian and Frances, are friendly and accommodating. The historical information supplied is fascinating and interesting reading!

We loved the peace and tranquility of Heuglins - the gardens are simply beautiful and Brian and Francis were lovely hosts. The chalets are well appointed and very comfortable. We would highly recommend this beautiful place.
The cottages are very cozy and well equipped. We had a lovely stay, just too short.
A very pleasant 7 day stay - comfortable, small kitchen facility , large bathroom and every morning starts with the dawn chorus. An outside covered patio with barbeque facilities was a major plus. Safe parking, and the estate itself is very safe too. Total privacy as these " lodges " are based well apart. Perfect base for seeing the Lowveld.
Perfect hosts, wonderful setting, very comfortable spacious cottages set in an idyllic location. The property is perfectly placed for a broad range of attractions, golf and day visits to Kruger. Brian and Frances are very welcoming and their knowledge of the areas is second to none.
Have been using Heuglinson Winmarleigh Farm for a number of years on our way to the Kruger Park.. The friendliness of the Owners is amazing. The rooms are very comfortable and always spotless. Love going there.
We stay a night there and was blown away by the lush surroundings and hospitality. The room was very comfortable and was a peaceful respite with the ambient sounds and greenery of the surroundings. Breakfast was a great spread with very pleasant hosts and we were sorry we had to leave. Would love to come back again!
Heuglins has self catering cottages fully equipped for a comfortable stay and situated conveniently for purchasing your provisions. I particularly liked the jug of milk in the fridge which typified their forward thinking.
Hosts Bryan and his wife made sure everything was perfect for our short stay. We arrived in driving rain and found that each cottage has a golf type umbrella for use by the guests.
I would go back in a heartbeat!

There is a shisanyama along the road . Wow … what a nice place to chill in, the music was good. They braai the meat for the customers.
